The Portscum visit Occidental Avenue tonight in a Pacific Northwest derby. We hate them. They hate us. We celebrate goals and victories by singing and chanting. They celebrate goals and victories by sawing off bits of wood.

The Good News
With all things considered, by the numbers, the football has been rather even. Seattle on good form with 3-1-2 in their last six matches. Will Johnson and Valeri out for Portland for certain. Wallace indeterminate with MCL sprain. When playing Portscum at home, Seattle have never lost (3-2-0) in five matches. Dempsey has hit five goals in three matches against the Scum. The Scum only have 3 players that have scored at least two goals against us. All-time goals for/against show us at 21:14 advantage, a 3:2 ratio. All-time the series favors Seattle slightly at 5-4-2.

The Bad News
With all things considered, by the numbers, the football has been rather even. Marshall out through suspension. Roldan out due to USA U-20 selection. Portland on decent form with 2-2-2 in their last six. Of the three Portscum players that have hit at least two goals against us, two will be in the lineup (Adi, Chara).
